About Kits, Science and Learning
Introduce beginners to a world of robotics, kit building, and other science projects as a great way to develop interest in maths, science, and engineering. Our hands-on kits (solder and snap-on) and science projects, with some help and supervision, will see young aspiring STEM students working out how to solve a range of real problems. For example, using solar energy to power vehicles that some of our kits use to generate electricity instead of relying solely on batteries.
Our kits range from simple, small experiments to larger, more advanced models, so there are many experiments to suit any up-and-coming Madam Curie, Newton, or Einstein. Explore our solar system and renewable energy with solar, air, and saltwater-powered designs.
With more advanced skills, makers can progress to our electronic soldering kits, where they can build an FM radio, voice changer, or the famous Knight Rider Red Light Scanner. We also have many soldering irons, solder, and helping hands with magnifiers to make the experience easier and further the journey.
Jaycar's range of Arduino kits will open your mind to the endless possibilities of how software and hardware interact.
Hopefully, this experience will lead to developing confidence in asking questions and finding answers at the same time.
