This material is available in two thicknesses 25mm and 38mm. The 25mm is very economical and will suit most applications especially domestic where price is a major consideration. The 38mm product has far greater attenuation and is better for professional or serious acoustic problems. The tiles come as a nested pair (male/female) and each version has the same sound absorbing characteristic. Each tile is 300 x 300mm and has a slight bevelled edge which produces a pleasing effect when the tiles are laid. The tiles are made from fire retardant polyester urethane #R- 200- U. They can be spray painted and do not sag in any position. They can be attached to virtually any clean,dry stable surface with double sided adhesive foam tape or virtually any type of contact type adhesive. As you can see they have an attractive appearance when suitably painted.
