Suitable for medium to large installations with up to 16 cameras this digital video recorder has all the essential features required for monitoring and recording a large number of channels, yet it is the same size as many 4 channel DVR systems. With standard functions such as a 16 channel multiplexer, Ethernet functions, and H.264 video compression, it can also support recording and playback of D1 resolution video (704 x 576) at 400 frames per second. Powered by a dual core CPU running an embedded Linux OS, the DVR is capable of simultaneous viewing, playback, recording and backup operations. Playback can be displayed locally through the HDMI, composite, or VGA outputs and remotely via a network connection using a web browser or an iPhone®, iPad®, or Smartphone app*. The unit features 16 composite video inputs, HDMI and composite video output, VGA monitor output, event triggered recording (motion, camera activation, or alarm), video loss detection, remote network control or view, and USB back-up support. Supplied with a 500GB HDD fitted, software and manual on CD, power supply, and quick start guide.
