Refer: Silicon Chip March 2001 This is the ultimate programmer for PIC developers and enthusiasts. With this kit, all programming and checking can be undertaken without having to move the PIC chip from the programmer until you're satisfied with it's operation. Moving a newly programmed PIC can be particularly frustrating if you discover that the PICs program contains bugs and must be placed back into the programmer for code re-evaluation. The kit plugs into your PC's parallel port for downloading PIC code from your PC, with Windows software supplied for the task on disk. Kit is supplied with quality pre-tinned PCB, software for DOS/Win95/98, 16F84A PIC chip, machined pin IC socket for the PIC chip plus all specified electronic components. For high volume programmers, an optional ZIF socket available separately (PI-6480). 12-14VAC/DC 300mA required (use our MP3006); parallel port cable (use our WC7508).
