This sophisticated H.264 DVR incorporates a 16 channel multiplexer and is fitted with an on-board Ethernet connection allowing you to access the DVR remotely. Connect to a network and access the recorder with a standard browser or via a smart phone app for iPhone®, iPad® HD, Android, or Windows Mobile. The system utilises password authentication to avoid unauthorised use and you can enable offsite access if a broadband connection is present on site (Port configuration required on broadband modem).
The multiplexer offers an array of display modes with the ability to manually select single inputs as well as four, nine, or sixteen way display and each input can also be assigned a title. Recording can be triggered manually, with timer recording, alarm inputs, or digital motion detection. The DVR supports large SATA hard drives and is factory fitted with a 500GB drive. The system has a USB port for file transfer but can also support a USB DVD recorder. Video loss detection is built in on all channels, and video characteristics can also be adjusted. This is a sophisticated and versatile DVR with a host of features normally only present on professional DVR units.
