Overview

This is a simple single version of a High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamp that you are now seeing on up market cars. It is one lamp set only. It is basically intended to convert a spotlight on, say a large boat, to a much more powerful and effective spotlight. The kit includes a 35W Xenon HID lamp, 6000*K, with H4 base, ballast unit and wiring harness. It is a very simple installation. Light output approximately 3000 lumens at 12V. You could also build your own super powerful spotlight using an old semi-sealed headlamp.

Note: Although this unit is designed to retrofit to cars the Roads and Traffic Authorities do not currently permit after-market HID conversion kits to be installed DIY. We do not, therefore, endorse the use of this kit for car use even though this kit does not require one cut to factory wiring.
