With the ever increasing cost of electricity bills, more and more people are looking to alternative lighting solutions; and LED technology is presenting a viable and popular alternative to halogen or CFL lighting sources. This latest offering in the Ecolume lighting range represents the latest and greatest in LED technology and performance, consuming a meagre 9W of power whilst producing almost 700 lumens of light thanks to the four Philips-Lumileds Luxeon Rebel ES LEDs. That's virtually as much light as a 50W halogen downlight! Being LED, the downlight operates at significantly lower temperature than halogens, with no UV output, and LED output is rated to over 50,000 hours of service. Truly a quality product with outstanding performance, we are standing by these with a 3 year warranty. Kit is supplied with dimmable LED driver (leading and trailing edge dimming).
