The kit operates from 12VDC so it will be equally at home in either in your car or monitoring your home theatre/Hi-Fi system. This kit uses four red vertical LED bar graphs to indicate the level of bass output from your speakers so that you can set your bass signals properly. The unit covers 2 1/2 octaves in 4 separate bands 32-64Hz, 64-96Hz, 96-128Hz, and 128-160Hz. The bar graphs cover a range of 15db in 5 x 3db steps.
