UTC is the acronym for "Up The Coax". It enables OSD functions in a cameras menu to be changed remotely by connecting this controller to the coax between the camera and DVR or monitor.

In the past an installer would need to climb a ladder to access the camera physically. Depending on the location of the camera this could be difficult and or dangerous for the installer, not to mention time consuming.

Camera installation is now easier than it has ever been thanks to UTC technology.
