Refer: Silicon Chip April 96 This rugged power amplifier uses the new generation plastic flat-pack power output transistors. It will deliver a genuine 115 watts RMS into 8 ohms or 175 watts RMS into 4 ohms with very low T.H.D. of 0.002% at 155W and 0.004% at 175W at 1kHz. Signal to noise ratio is better than -112dB @ 115W, 20Hz to 20kHz bandwidth. All components mount on the PCB, with the power output devices mounting directly to a heatsink, minimising hardware and valuable construction time. +/-59VDC power supply rails are required, use our MT2140 40-0-40 300VA toroidal transformer, ZR1324 DC rectifier and 2 X RU6710 8,000uF filter capacitors. * Heatsink required, use our HH-8546, page 51. * Heatsink not supplied
