Refer: Silicon Chip Magazine May 2005. This project provides you with a great way to take quick digital voice notes without the hassle of older methods such as tapes. It uses the HK828 256k voice recorder IC, which provides excellent flexibility and ease of design. It is set up to record 45 seconds worth of audio, but this can easily be modified (within the chip's specs) to give you longer record time at lower sampling rate, or shorter record time at higher sampling rate. It is a very easy to use and versatile kit, it even has provisions for RS-232 control! Check out the Silicon Chip article for all of the details.
